About People's Health Centers

The Betty Jean Kerr People’s Health Centers is a nonprofit community health care center that has served economically and otherwise disadvantaged people in metropolitan St. Louis since 1972. We have more than three decades of experience providing preventive and primary health care services.

Today, our organization of more than 150 professionals — including 25 full-time health care providers — accommodates about 82,000 annual visits from 32,000 different patients. And those numbers grow substantially each year.

We’re committed to health disparity reduction strategies and to age-appropriate health outcome measures provided by board-certified physicians, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants. We involve a broad array of health care professionals in our primary care team.

The Betty Jean Kerr People’s Health Centers maintains an extremely high level of quality medical services, as evidenced by the fact that we are Joint Commission-accredited. Our patient health information is secure, confidential, and complies with the latest HIPAA regulations.
