LPN (2)

North Site

Responsible for providing quality professional care under supervision of registered nurse or other health care provider. Assist physicians with examinations, procedures and other direct patient care. Requirements: Must hold current Missouri license and have at least one year experience in a large physician network/office, outpatient clinic or community health center working in internal medicine, women's health or pediatrics. Must be CPR certified.

 

OB Physician (1)

OB-GYN

Provides medical services to women during prenatal, natal, and postnatal periods.  Delivers infants.  Performs cesarean section or other surgical procedures as needed to preserve patient and infants health.  Must be board certified or board eligible.  Must have current license to practice medicine in the state of Missouri.  Graduate of an accredited college or university.

 

Family Practice Physician (2)

West Site

Diagnoses and treats variety of diseases and injuries in general practice.  Elicits and records information about patient’s medical history.  Examines patient to determine general physical condition.  Orders or executes various tests, analyses, and diagnostic images to provide information on patient’s condition.  Performs minor surgery.  Maintain hospital privileges for in-patient care as appropriate to individual practice.  Must be board certified or board eligible.  Must have current license to practice medicine in the state of Missouri.  Graduate of an accredited college or university.

 

Pediatrician (1)

Central Site

Provide medical services to infants and children in general practice. Elicits and records information about patient’s medical history.  Examines patient to determine general physical condition.  Orders or executes various tests, analyses, and diagnostic images to provide information on patient’s condition.  Maintain hospital privileges for in-patient care as appropriate to individual practice.  Must be board certified or board eligible.  Must have current license to practice medicine in the state of Missouri.  Graduate of an accredited college or university.

 

Dentist (1)

School Based

Provides preventive, diagnostic and therapeutic clinical service to the patient’s of People’s Health Centers, in regards to oral care.  Provide consultation to other staff physicians in matters pertaining to the position of Dentistry.  Refer cases as necessarily warranted to hospitals where appropriate treatment can be rendered.  The eligible candidate must be a graduate of an accredited college or university in the field of Dentistry.

 

Medical Assistant (1)

School Based Community Outreach

Assist the physician or professional nurse in various tasks.  Proficient in completing accurate vital signs and phlebotomy; detail oriented, able to deal with a diverse clientele and work in a fast paced environment.  Requires two years of recent consecutive work experience in internal medicine/pediatrics/women’s health in a primary healthcare facility, large private office or hospital.  Must be certified and have data entry experience, with ability to work flexible hrs.  Travel required (80%). Must be CPR certified.

 

Community Program Assistant (AOE) (1)

School Based

Responsible for delivering & distribution of abstinence only education to youth & parents.  Assists in adolescent education and coordination of special project to reach goals of the Generation 2000 program. Requires a minimum of 1-2 years of recent relevant experience, Bachelors degree preferred.  Must possess excellent presentation skills and customer service skills along with the ability to work with youth.

 

Appointment Clerk (1)

Central Site

Responsible for scheduling appointments in BCA for new and established PHC consumers by phone, in person, or third party. All appointment must be scheduled in accordance with appointment guidelines. Respond/resolve routine customer appointment concersn, able to deal with diverse clientele in tactful and professional manner, maintain strict confidentiality of patient information and pay close attention to detail. Requires two years consecutive related experience and/or training in office procedures of a large physician network/office, outpatient clinic or community health center preferred. Knowledge of medical terminology and excellent customer service skills a must. Must be proficient with computer applications. Must be able to type 35 wpm-ability to handle a high volume of incoming calls for 3 sites.

 

Housekeeper (1)

Maintenance

Clean building(s) using job-tasking list to ensure interior and exterior appearance meets established OSHA and HUD code/guidelines. Ensure building and grounds are maintained in a clean, uncluttered condition and are free of fire and personal hazards.  Requires high school diploma or equivalent.  Experience cleaning large facility using miscellaneous cleaning equipment preferred.  Must be able to stand, bend and/or stoop for long periods of time, perform tasks with minimal supervision and have an eye for detail in reference to cleaning.  Must be tactful and courteous to staff, patients and the general public.

 

Medical Assistant (3)

Central Site, North Site

Assist the physicians or professional nurse in various tasks. Proficient in completing accurate vital signs and phlebotomy; detail oriented, able to deal with a diverse clientele and work in a fast paced environment. Requires two years of consecutive work experience in internal medicine in a primary healthcare facility, large private office or hospital. Must have entry experience.

 

Medical Assistant Float (1)

Central Site

Registered Nurse (2)

Central Site, North Site

Responsible for planning, organizing, and directing daily activities. Observes techniques of and services rendered by nursing staff and provides nursing care for patients in department. Provides training and direction to new employees. Identifies problem areas in department such as understaffing, absenteeism and wastefulness and takes corrective action. Monitors use of supplies and equipment to avoid abuse and orders supplies as needed. Requirements:  must hold current Missouri License; at least two years recent experience in large physician network/office to include pediatrics, ambulatory care and possess strong leadership skills.  CPR certified.

 

Purchasing Agent (1)

Administration

Purchases required material at lowest cost, consistent with approved quality and delivery standards.  Implements purchasing policies and procedures.  Coordinates assigned projects involving alteration or installation of health center’s equipment. Maintains records, entering data into a computer, reordering and issuing of supplies within budgetary constraints and maintaining a perpetual inventory control. Duties also involve methods of cost control and working with accounts payable upon receiving all invoices and packing slips.  Must be able to deal with diverse clientele in tactful and professional manner, maintain strict confidentiality and pays close attention to detail.  Daily work requires bending, stooping for long periods, walking stairs, and lifting 20-30lbs. Requirements: Bachelors degree.  Basic knowledge of Microsoft applications.

 

 

The above positions are open to the public until further notice or position is closed. Employees must have completed 12 months of continuous employment with People's in current position to be eligible for consideration of transfer or promotion.
